Mobile Day Care

 

comes to the area weekly from Cowra Early Childhood Services. The Mobile service is an award winning children’s service providing long day care to children aged 0 –6 years. It visits Greenethorpe and nearby Koorawatha on alternate Wednesdays. It is subsidised to keep costs low for rural families and at present is $9 a day 9am -3pm. The service is licensed with the Department of Community Services, and is assessed to meet regulations and to ensure that children are educated and cared for in a safe, secure environment by qualified and experienced staff.

 

The children get very individualised care and each child’s progress is recorded in a detailed portfolio which is given to the child when they move on to big school.
